Eld App Updates

Instructions for Samsung devices

Users must change the network settings, in order to get connected to the ELD device seamlessly. Please check the following steps,

• Go to Setting > Connections > WiFi or Setting > WiFi
• Choose 'Advanced'
• Turn off the 'Smart Network Switch' setting

As Simple Truck ELD is an ever-evolving solution for your ELD and operational needs we strongly suggest that you set up your Android device to automatically accept updates.

The following are the steps that you can take to make this happen:

• Go to the Play Store Icon on your Android display
• Select the menu once you are in Google Play
• Select settings from the dropdown
• Select General Auto-Update apps at any time.
  • Data charges may apply
• Or Auto-Update apps over Wi-Fi Only
  • Wi-Fi setting must be turned on for this to work
• Move down to Notifications
• Select Apps updates available
  • select Notify when app updates available

For manually updating Application

• Go to the Play Store Icon on your Android display
• Select the menu once you are in Google Play
• Select from the drop down My apps & games
• Then you will see Simple Truck ELD in the list of available updates
• Select update and you will receive notification once it completed
